More Theresa Duncan mysteries

Fall is in the air (yes, dear New York readers, we do have seasons in Los Angeles), but that beachy summer mystery known as Theresa Duncan continues to haunt our imagination.

  1. Is she alive and well and working as a prostitute?
  2. Why has Duncanologist seaword (who, following our lead, exposed Wit's literary peccadillos) vanished into the ether, shuttering the blog and neglecting to answer email from fans? (Btw, if you really want to read that page, you can here.)
  3. Has famed Duncanologist Kate Coe of FBLA, who hasn't posted her keen insights here or elsewhere lately, also lost interest and vanished?
  4. Will this blogger soon follow suit?
  5. Was Jeremy Blake really the rear-ending type? And if, so can we tell from this conversation?

I'll let Dream's End work on 1-4 and leave 5 for you to solve.

A good turd-burglar mystery is never out of fashion. What with skidmarks and all...the trail could go on forever.

New comments from some nutbag who calls himself "Rob Jacobs" on my site. From the IP addresses (in Baltimore), it seems likely both the comment in his name and the whack-job comment from "DUNCAN" before it are his.

Plagiarize this:

Art critic Laurie Winer, in the October 07 issue of California Style magazine, characterized Kate Coe as a “once-close girlfriend”…

Kate Coe said she barely knew her. Gee, either way, normally that would conflict Kate Coe out of this story, now wouldn’t it…

…and once-close personal friend would indicate someone who was not close any longer, generally that would be through some sort of falling out.

That’s really cute. You have a falling out with someone, then as soon as she is dead you take that opportunity to write an article about what a nut she was.

And that Kate Coe POS was supposed to be the authoratative article on this?? As she so trumpeted herself??? Now we learn she was a former friend…

Obviously Kate Coe’s article was not objective, obviously she has her own opinion for all of this, and she passes it off as objective fact.

What a disgrace, what a phoney, Kate Coe I hope you get taken down hard and left to be pointed at and mocked when this all is done.

I smell a smoking gun…

I was never a close girl friend, as I'd written several times. Winer never spoke with me, either.

I just finished the VF article, and it leaves more questions than it answers. Isn't it possible that Theresa was murdered? Where are the "hundreds of photographs" that she supposedly took of out of state licenses in LA? Who sent the nasty mass email? How did they pay for their lavish lifestyle? Why did Father Frank's ex-wife write the article? Why is it that a supposed conspiracy investigator didn't look closer at the death of a good friend? How is it that some of the people put on "suicide watch" for Jeremy didn't even live in NYC? How did they get there, and where did they stay? Why wasn't the psychiatrist who told Jeremy he was delusional identified? Was there a suicide note from Theresa, and if there was, was it hand written, or on her computer? This whole thing stinks to high hell! Can anyone answer these, and many more, questions?
